Digital terrestrial television (DTT)

Sogecable is present on the Digital Terrestral Television (DTT) with three channels: on Cuatro, its free to air channel, on CNN+, the non-stop news channel and on 40 Latino, the music channel.

Since the beginnings of its broadcast in such technology, the company has developed diverse interactive services. In 2006, it developed an Electronic Schedule Guide that was made by means of the MHP technology and a News Service on CNN+ that enables the users to consult the most highlighted headlines of the day in real time.

Two new applications were added in 2007, one for 40 Latino and another one for Cuatro. Infoclip 40 Latino is a service that allows you to consult the songs and singers that have been scheduled on the channel. It is synchronized with the channel's video and offers' information on the next six scheduled songs. With Ticker Cuatro you may consult the SMSs that viewers send to the channel's different programmes. It is a support for the overprinting on video, with the advantage that the application's user may apply or remove it whenever he wishes to do so.
